Linda Timmons

For 30 years, Linda has been positively involved with her community and is experienced in encouraging and empowering women from vastly different backgrounds, facing a myriad of challenges. Linda has learned how to make impacts in various settings – life coaching, weight loss, personal training, wellness coaching, fitness instruction, as well as through volunteer work: at houses of worship, in non-profit settings, and home study groups ~ all with an underlying passion for empowering others through their mindset to reach their dreams and goals no matter their circumstances or age.

Today, Linda coaches most often in one-on-one settings with women. After fully assessing individual needs, she begins the journey of empowering women to reach their goals and dreams through the coaching/training process. Time-trusted and true, Linda walks beside of a client whether that woman’s goal is making exceptional gains in fitness, weight loss, maintaining a workable exercise program, a strong sense of self, and attaining greater life satisfaction. Supporting, motivating, and strengthening others to take control of their thoughts and choices.

I'm a 35-year-old mom, wife, and ISSA certified personal trainer who was born and raised in Charleston, now soaking up the sun in Mount Pleasant. I joined the Sweet Strength Fitness family in January 2022 and I love the uplifting environment, our awesome clients, and the dynamic duo - Linda and Breeze! I am an ISSA Personal Trainer, and CPR/AED Certified.


I believe in combating personal challenges with weight and body image and embracing discipline and consistency for transformative fitness. I wanted to make fitness and health a major part of my life, as I have always been an outgoing and fun loving person, but I have also struggled with weight, body image, and consistency with nutrition for a majority of my life. Learning how to properly train while being disciplined and consistent is something that I believe is transformative and positively impacts all areas of life.I thrive to continue learning and working on new certifications to offer my clients the best possible version of myself as we train together!

I love getting to know my clients on a personal level and helping them by setting individual goals and putting the goals into actions. As a woman, I understand the pressures we face on a daily basis with body image and meeting the needs of others. I am here to help you put yourself first by taking action in the gym and crushing those goals while also improving your self esteem and setting up healthy, life-long habits. You can expect a great workout that will help you elevate your fitness potential while also building confidence through action. Linda's first book is for purchase.

Her passion is empowering women with the tools that help them move forward during grief, loss, pain, change, or challenges so that they can live out their dreams and become the best version of who God created them to be.

You are God’s highest form of creation, made in his image. You are made to live your passion, and Linda hopes this book will encourage you to do just that.

This is a book about bereavement. It reflects Linda's journey through the loss of her husband in 2012. These are her thoughts as she walked through the grief process.

 

Linda hopes to write another book in the future of the years that transpired after that and her faith in Christ to inspire others. She wants to inspire others with the fundamental truth that there is hope and a new future after loss.
